Plot
Shirley's finest film!

Shirley Temple stars as a rich girl living in an elite boarding school in Victorian London. Loved and spoiled by her widowed father, he is soon lost and presumed dead while fighting in the Boer war. With her father and fortune gone, she comes under the control of the school mistress who forces her to work as a servant. Queen Victoria comes to her aid in this wonderful fantasy film, complete with a dream ballet sequence and a duet with Arthur Treacher (the school's butler) to the song King of the Road.
